Vive e lavora a Roma
Nasce a Genova nel 71.
Nel 90 ,dopo aver visitato una personale del pittore cileno Michel Sergio Haramoto Baffico, decide di dedicarsi pienamente alla pittura astratta, coltivata sin da giovane età. Cinzio, ama definire le proprie opere come “semplici imbrattamenti di tele bianche”.
Nel corso degli anni (1995 – 1999) organizza piccole mostre personali e collettive a Milano in pub, vinerie, ristoranti, discoteche, ricevendo, sempre, un discreto apprezzamento. Sempre a Milano organizza una mostra con un poeta\fotografo, creando per ogni poesia un dipinto.
Nel 2000 si trasferisce a Roma, dove apre un negozio del tutto particolare, in cui accanto ai gioielli, crea uno spazio espositivo permanente per le proprie opere, unite, col tempo, a quelle di giovani artisti, creando all’interno del suo sito www.ashanti.it un portale dedicato all’arte, suddiviso in: pittori, scultori, designer, narratori e lirici.
Nel 2002 viene eletto Presidente dell’Imprenditoria Giovanile dell’Assartigiani di Roma e Provincia e del Lazio.
Da Marzo 2002 , lo spazio viene trasformato, anche, in galleria d’arte, dove organizza mostre personali, collettive, performance ed eventi culturali di vario genere. Nel Settembre del 2002 organizza il Concorso Nazionale di pittura TRAMONTI - “contemporAneA”.
Dal 2003 inizia a realizzare video per conferenze a sfondo culturale.
Da ottobre 2006 viene scelto come orefice ed alcuni dei suoi pezzi in "cera persa" in argento 925 e bronzo sono presenti presso Margutta design jewelry di Roma
Nel Giugno del 2007 viene selezionato per la vendita delle CREAZIONI ASHANTI in bronzo presso il Bookshoop di Zètema ai Musei Capitolini Piazza del Campidoglio in Roma
 

RAFFAELE CINZIO: JEWELLERY DESIGNER
“The luck of being at the same time designer and craftsman is that I can soon see my creation become real”.

Born in Genoa in 1971, he has lived in Milan until 2000: presently he lives and works in Rome.
Web and graphic, designer, painter, goldsmith and jewellery designer.
His love for abstract painting springs in 1990 after having visited an exhibition of the Chilean painter Michel Sergio Haramoto Baffico. He begins to paint.
Between 1995 and 1999 after trying various jobs he starts working for a well-known jewellery and antiques showroom. In his leisure time he organises small exhibitions of unknown artists and painters in various pubs and restaurants in Milan, always going strong.
In the year 2000 he moves to Rome where he finally starts his own business that could bring together his activity and his passions.
Set In one of the oldest districts of Rome, Ashanti is now a jewellery workshop where his and other designers’ jewellery can be found and an art gallery at the same time. With the aid of two dedicated internet sites ( www.ashanti.it www.ashantigalleria.com.) young painters, designers, sculptors and scholars have the possibility to express themselves and show their creations.

Since 2002 he has been organising cultural events of all kinds for public institutions, firms and private clients (ContemporAneA”, Tramonti, Contemporaneamonti, TorSapienzaInArte, Festivalarti).
In 2006 he has obtained from the Province of Rome the Quality Certification for his jewels and the possibility to show and sell them in the shopping areas of the major Museums in Rome.
